The author of the WSJ article about the cancellation of Issues, Etc., Mollie Hemingway, was interviewed on the White Horse Inn radio program. The White Horse Inn is hosted by Michael Horton, a confessional Reformed theologian who has appeared on Issues, Etc. from time to time. The White Horse Inn also features Lutheran theologian Rod Rosenbladt as one of the co-hosts.
I've been hesitant to criticize our synodical leadership on this blog, but I do share some of the concerns of Hemingway in this interview. Having said that, the first thing we ought to be doing is pray, for both Todd Wilken and Jeff Schwartz, host and producer of Issues, Etc., but also for those who have silenced such a powerful and widespread means for proclaiming the Gospel.
