LCMS Pastor elected to office in African church

An LCMS pastor has been elected as general secretary of the Ethiopian Evangelical Lutheran Church, the largest Lutheran body in Africa and second largest in the world. Click here to read the story in The Reporter, the newspaper of the LCMS.

Right here in the Puget Sound there is an Ethiopian Lutheran mission church. It meets in the old building of Zion Lutheran Church in Seattle's Greenlake neighborhood. Click here to see a video of Pastor Berhanu Seyoum explaining the mission of his congregation.
