New Adult Instruction Class begins Oct. 10

New Adult Instruction Class: Pastor Onken will begin an Adult Instruction Class on Sunday night, October 10, from 7-9 pm. The class generally lasts for about 12 weeks. Using the Bible, Luther’s Small Catechism, the hymnal, and other resources, we will explore the basics of Christianity and what it means to be a Lutheran. There is no obligation to join Messiah Lutheran Church at the end of the class. However, if you find yourself in agreement with what you learned, you would certainly be welcome to join our fellowship here as a member of Messiah Lutheran Church. If you are already a member of our congregation, you are also encouraged to come for a “refresher course” in Christian doctrine. Bring a friend … or two!
