Why is my blog's "About Me" picture Ambrose of Milan?

Today on our church calendar St. Ambrose of Milan is commemorated. You can read more about him by clicking here.

I've had a mosaic picture of him as my blog's "About Me" picture for quite some time now. Don't get me wrong. In no way am I comparing myself to Ambrose. But I chose this picture for three reasons...

1) Ambrose died on April 4, which is my birthday.

2) He has a short beard. I have a short beard.

3) I liked the picture.
