...which is just around the corner (Dec. 7), I read this interesting fact on the daily email from the Concordia Historical Institute (CHI). Today is the birthday (in 1902) of Mitsuo Fuchida, Japanese military general (d. 30 May 1976). Fuchida flew the lead plane in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941. Through the representatives of the Pocket Testament League, he was converted to Christianity on 14 April 1950.
