Here's the second cartoon I did for my friend's presentation at a retreat for pastor's wives.  She also asked for a picture of the Luthers on vacation. I thought it might be funny to put them on a trip in a familiar tourist destination near me.  One of the points my friend wanted to make was how some pastors have a hard time getting away from their "vocation" even while on "vacation."  So here's Martin checking in at the office on his cell phone while Katie expresses her disapproval.

Luther on Vacation

A friend of mine asked me to draw a cartoon for a presentation on the topic of "vocation" she was giving at a retreat for pastor's wives. As a part of her preparation she read "Luther on Vocation" by Gustaf Wingren (great book, by the way).  She thought it might be funny to show a picture of Martin Luther on VACATION, so here's what I came up with.
